A potential K-pop super group has appeared on the radars of global fans.
KISS OF LIFE’s title track “Shhh,” from its debut mini-album released in July, has climbed to number 7 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart, according to its agency S2 Entertainment. The track has been charted in ten regions worldwide including Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, U.S., Thailand and Brazil.
Spotify’s Viral 50 chart is a ranking of the most streamed tracks in each country and region, serving as a key indicator for alternative play and bubbling-under songs. KISS OF LIFE’s entry into the top 10 may suggest that it’s on the verge of a major breakout in the global market.
KISS OF LIFE’s latest success is attributed to its outstanding live performances and stage presence, as well as its diverse content on social media. Its chemistry as a group and the electrifying solo performances by Natty and Belle have made them one of the most promising young stars in K-pop, and its growing reputation has been further enhanced by the dance challenges they’ve put up on social media.
Prior to its entry into the Viral 50 chart, KISS OF LIFE had already garnered 1 million monthly listeners and 10 million total streams on Spotify for its latest album, showing a glimpse of its potential as a next-generation K-pop mega group that could follow in the footsteps of BTS and BLACKPINK.
