Usher is showing his appreciation to Rihanna!
On Wednesday, the “Boyfriend” singer, 45, shared a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) of Rihanna professing her support for him ahead of his Super Bowl halftime show in 2024.
“Real recognize real Thank U Queen @rihanna,” Usher wrote on X as he reposted the clip of the Fenty founder, who headlined the event in February while revealing her second pregnancy with partner A$AP Rocky.
“I can’t give Usher no advice,” “Rihanna said in the video after being asked if she had any tips to pass on. “Usher is a natural, he’s a legend and he’s been doing this since he’s a teenager.”
“He’s made for that show,” the “Lift Me Up” singer continued in the footage. “I get excited about entertainers who do this, who are built for it and he just proved that in Vegas that he’s not going anywhere.”
Usher announced in September that he would headline the Super Bowl halftime show by sharing a video of him receiving a phone call from Kim Kardashian telling him the news.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list,” Usher said in a statement. “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”
“Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen,” the musician continued. “I’ll see you real soon.”
The 2024 Super Bowl halftime show will mark Usher’s second Super Bowl appearance. In 2011 he performed alongside the Black Eyed Peas when they headlined the event.
The “U Got It Bad” singer wrapped up his My Way Las Vegas residency earlier this month. Overcome with emotion, Usher was captured dropping to his knees as his dance crew surrounded him for the last performance of the residency, which began in July 2022.
Super Bowl LVIII will air live on CBS on Feb. 11, 2024.
