Donna Kelce tells Page Six why she thinks Taylor Swift is the perfect choice for her son Travis Kelce.
When Donna Kelce attended the premiere of Grotesquerie, starring Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, in New York City on September 23, she privately told reporters that her son’s famous relationship with pop star Taylor Swift was “pretty interesting.”

“Travis is a good guy, really good and generous. As far as I know, Taylor is too,” Donna commented, suggesting that this may be why Taylor is the perfect choice for her son. Donna added of the couple: “I hope they are having a great time together.”
Asked if she was proud of her son Travis starring in Ryan Murphy’s 10-episode FX series, she replied: “Oh, it’s great. Just seeing your kids doing something they really enjoy is a blessing. I know he wants to try acting, so we’ll see how it goes.”
The 71-year-old (who is also the mother of former Philadelphia Eagles football player Jason Kelce) explained that she “always told both of my kids that if you do something you love, you’ll be really good at it.”

She admitted it was too early to say whether Travis Kelce , 34, would enjoy doing so, but noted that he was “very easy to coach because he’s good at sports .”
In the past few years, the Kelce boys have won a total of four Super Bowls and launched a hugely successful podcast called New Heights .
Donna talks about her two sons’ success: “Their careers are on the rise. I can’t believe what’s happened in the last few years.”

Although Taylor Swift did not attend Travis’ most recent game against the Atlanta Falcons on September 22 (where Travis’s team defeated the Atlanta Falcons 22-17), she has cheered on him at several games since last fall, sitting in with Donna and her husband on several occasions.
