– The movie “Mission: Impossible 7” has not escaped its “bad luck” when a positive case was discovered in the film crew. This is the second time a Tom Cruise movie has stopped production for this reason.
The producer confirmed that “Mission: Impossible 7” has been paused after at least one crew member tested positive. The movie can continue filming after June 14, when those involved complete quarantine. It is unclear how many people in the production crew have Covid-19.
“Mission: Impossible 7” had to go through a long and complicated production process because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In February 2020, the film was scheduled to be filmed in Venice (Italy) but had to be postponed due to the epidemic outbreak. Filming continued in October, but was delayed by 1 week because 12 people on set tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Recently, an audio clip from the studio was leaked, showing Tom Cruise scolding crew members for standing too close together and not following Covid-19 prevention principles.
In “Mission: Impossible 7”, Tom Cruise will take on the role of special agent Ethan Hunt, joined by actors Rebecca Ferguson, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff and Henry Czerny. The film is expected to be released in May 2022./.
