This tiny puppy named Gunner was so thankful to be saved that he offered his slice of bread to his rescuers.

A kind passerby gave the stray puppy a slice of bread. But later, when a rescue team showed up to help him, he offered his only food to them.

The puppy was small, hungry, and all alone on the roadside. Yet, he had the sweetest most generous spirit even though life hadn’t been kind to him.

The rescue team picked up Gunner and took him to the vet. He was covered in ticks and needed medical care. But other than the ticks, he was relatively healthy for all that he had been living through.

He got the medical care he needed, healthy food, and lots of care. It didn’t take long before Gunner was transforming into a healthy puppy. He no longer resembled the trembling, scared puppy they found on the side of the road.

Soon, Gunner was healed and ready to take on life. He was full of energy and loved to run and play in the green grass. He loved his foster home and it turned out he was a very smart dog and very curious about things.

Before long, Gunner was adopted by a great family who continued to share pictures of him growing up. His new family took him on lots of adventures, to the beach, and let him do his favorite things, like digging holes in the sand.

Gunner may have had a rough start in life but his spirit is full of appreciation for the second chance he was given. He embraces life and is now a very happy dog. He’s such a lucky pup to have been saved and adopted by such a great family.
