This is an event that attracts many famous and influential artists in the world to attend, along with the Oscars of cinema and the Grammys of music.
Because it is a fashion event, the Met Gala is directed by Anna Wintour – editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine and each year, the event will have a theme for the guests to dress according to it.
The theme of this year’s Met Gala is: Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
In addition to Anna Wintour, three other people participating as hosts of this year’s event are Designer Donatella Versace, singer Rihanna and Amal Clooney (George Clooney’s wife).
