Katie Holmes did her own heavy lifting while running errands in her New York City, where she moved back in 2012 following her split from ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The Alone Together star, 45, certainly had her hands full as she stepped out with a ginormous box, which was secured with clear duct tape on the top and bottom.
While out and about on Wednesday, the mother-of-one looked effortlessly chic in a white blouse, flared jeans and a black leather handbag, which she wore over her shoulder.
The Dawson’s Creek alum completed her laid-back look with a pair of oversized black sunglasses and brown loafers.
While she had a hair tie around her wrist, in case she wanted to throw her hair up later, she opted to keep her long, straight brown hair down, behind her shoulders.

Holmes opted to show off her natural beauty by wearing minimal makeup, apart from a light-weight foundation and blush.
The actress’ lookalike daughter, Suri, who turned 18 in April and is set to graduate high school next month, did not appear to be present on the outing.
Holmes welcomed Suri on April 18, 2006 with Cruise, 61.
She and Cruise began dating in April 2005 and Holmes, who grew up Catholic, began studying Tom’s religion Scientology.
Seven months after the birth of their first and only child, Tom and Katie tied the knot in November 2006 during a Scientology ceremony held at Odescalchi Castle in Bracciano, Italy.
Katie shocked fans while she filed to divorce Tom in June 2012. She was eventually granted primary custody of Suri.
It’s been reported that Tom has rarely seen his daughter in the last 11 years despite being afforded visitation rights.
Last month, Suri rang in her 18th birthday in New York City while her A-list father was busy shooting the next Mission Impossible film in Europe.

Although he missed his daughter’s milestone, Tom did find the time to attend Victoria Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday bash in London two days later.
Now that Suri is a legal adult, the Interview With The Vampire star no longer has to pay child support.
It’s been reported that Tom forked over $33,000 per month, totaling around $400,000 a year, plus Suri’s expenses, such as medical and education.
While she’s estranged from Tom, Suri has a close relationship with mom Katie.
Katie has shared some insight on their tight bond over the years.
In an essay for Vogue Australia, the TV star said it was the ‘most precious gift’ to spend COVID-19 lockdown with her only child.
‘To live for a moment in time without the pressure of results and instead appreciate the natural rhythms of mother and daughter was the most precious gift,’ she wrote.

Also in 2020, Katie gushed to InStyle about how much she loves Suri and marveled at how ‘very strong’ the teen is.
‘I love her so much. My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality,’ she told the magazine.
‘To make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident, and able. And to know it. She came out very strong — she’s always been a strong personality.’
She described Suri as a ‘hard worker’ who works tirelessly to master her skills.
‘She’ll pick an activity and work her butt off until she’s really good at it,’ Katie said. ‘Then she’s like, “OK, I’m going to try the next thing.”
‘She’s very focused and a hard worker.’
