Lisa (Blackpink) continues to prove that she is one of the most successful solo artists in Kpop.
Recently, the Guinness World Records Organization confirmed a new record for female idol Lisa of Blackpink.
Specifically, the solo song “Money”, included in the female singer’s debut album “LALISA” released in October 2021, is recognized as “The first Kpop solo song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify”.
With this achievement, Lisa raised the total number of Guinness world records she achieved to 8.
Previously, the 7 records that Lisa was recognized for included: 6 music records and 1 record for the number of social network account followers.

Lisa is currently in the process of discussing contract extension with management company YG Entertainment. However, there are continuous rumors that Lisa refused YG’s lucrative offer. It has been revealed that the contract that YG proposed to Lisa is worth up to 50 billion won.
Experts predict that Lisa will most likely leave YG to join an American entertainment company or her home country of Thailand. Lisa herself has never confirmed or denied these rumors.
