Shirtless Jason Kelce Washes Cybertruck, Pees in Bush for Garage Beer Commercial
Shirtless Jason Kelce strikes again!
The former Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, told brother Travis Kelce, 34, about how his new Garage Beer car-washing commercial came to be during a recent episode of their New Heights podcast.
“In the least shocking news ever, Jason came up with the idea for the latest garage beer commercial,” the podcast shared on X (formerly Twitter) in a video breaking down the ad’s origin story.
The ad, which features him and former Eagles teammate Beau Allen washing Jason’s Cybertruck and drinking Garage Beer to make the chore more enjoyable, was released on Sept. 9.
“If you’ve been wondering what Jason has been up to during his new retirement phase, he’s filming his own Garage Beer commercials,” Travis said. “The most recent one, though, was him and Beau Allen washing some cars, just making sure the car stays clean. And enjoying a nice Garage while they’re doing it.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end then asked his brother who was behind the commercial’s storyline.

“I’ve always loved beer commercials,” Jason began. “And I’ve always loved the old school, like, Budweiser ads or the Most Interesting Man in the World. I just feel like beer commercials are always just iconically put in your brain.”
And this one sure will. After Jason and Allen decide to crack open a cold one, they clean the Cybertruck in short shorts, playfully fight with soapy water and hoses, and dance to ZZ Top’s “Gimme All Your Lovin.’ “

Jason added that when he partnered with Garage, he wanted to do some fun commercials, especially now that he has time amid retirement.
“Creatively, it’s just it’s fun to think about different ideas,” he said. “I’m a big idea guy, not a big execution guy. Luckily, we got a bunch of people that work with Garage Beer that know how to execute ideas.”
Travis asked if Allen was always the costar he had in mind “when you were thinking about washing cars with short shorts on.” Jason considered other Eagles players — Landon Dickerson, Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata — as his fellow car washer, but picked on Allen, 32, while he was in town.

Jason also noted that Cybertrucks can short-circuit when they go through carwashes, so he was a little nervous. However, filming the commercial went smoothly, and the football stars showed off their car-washing skills without issue.
Although Jason is not playing in the NFL nowadays, he’s taking an active role in the 2024-2025 season by appearing in the Monday Night Football broadcasts as a commentator.
He had his first appearance on Sept. 9 — and forgot his bag in said Cybertruck. He had to grab a shirt on his way to the ESPN broadcast at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Jason exclusively told PEOPLE in June about his decision to retire from the NFL after 13 years with the Eagles. He weighed the idea of retiring for a few years and found that the 2023-2024 season was time.
“After stepping away this year, it just was more and more evident after the season that my body is telling me to stop,” the Monday Night Football broadcaster said at the time. “I don’t think I could play another season at the way I want to and the way that’s going to make me happy.”
