Según Michelle Nguyen, experta en uñas y fundadora y directora ejecutiva de PLA Nails , los estilos elegantes y minimalistas que amamos el año pasado no van a ninguna parte. “Parece que el lujo tranquilo llegó para quedarse por un tiempo”, le dice a Glamour . “Muchas personas ahora están adoptando un estilo elegante y minimalista para sus uñas, y estamos viendo muchos tonos de piel transparentes y pigmentados y tonos nude que serán tendencia para 2024”.
Esto no debería sorprendernos, especialmente después de un año lleno de diseños de uñas de color rosa brillante inspirados en Barbie . Nuestras uñas (y nuestros ojos) necesitan un respiro.

Jan Arnold , experto en uñas y cofundador y director de estilo de CND, está de acuerdo y señala que si bien 2024 se está alejando del extremismo exagerado de 2023, los diseños de uñas de año nuevo seguirán siendo espirituales, virtuales y alucinantes (y por lo tanto, Super guay). Arnold continúa.
¿Otros estilos a esperar? “Los colores y tonos incluirán notas altas y bajas que suenan en conjunto y en contraste, dependiendo de cómo se combinen”, dice Arnold. “Los detalles extravagantes, como adornos a gran escala con colores ricos y lujosos, serán un diseño perfecto para una noche festiva, y los patrones y texturas traerán inspiración, motivación y calma”.
Según Arnold, veremos longitudes medias a largas con formas suavizadas de stiletto, ataúd y almendradas que seguirán dominando el mundo de las uñas.
Sin embargo, Nguyen afirma que las formas cortas y naturales seguirán ganando popularidad junto con el minimalismo sigiloso y rico . “Parece que los colores naturales y las formas de las uñas ocuparán un lugar destacado en 2024”, afirma. “Parece haber habido un cambio de uñas ultralargas a uñas cuadradas o redondas, más cortas y manejables”.
