Here at MAY THE RAY we love a good themed nail design. And with summer right around the corner we wanted to celebrate with some hot new nails to match the weather outside.
Sunny skies, pastels and bright colors, cocktails and sun dresses, going on hikes and random adventures. These are all the things that come to mind when I think summer and the nail designs in this post are the embodiment of that aesthetic.
Since we’ve all decided that 2023 is going to have a hot girl summer, a hot new manicure can kick of the season on the right note. This years summer nail trends are already emerging and every single one of them is absolutely gorgeous!
This year French tip style nails have been huge and people have found ways to be super creative with the style (I’ve included some really gorgeous options in the post).
Pastels are always big in the summer but this year so are bright bold neon colors. Why not be bold this summer and try out something bolder and brighter? Do it for hot girl summer!
Another really interesting trend this year is the butterfly nails. Butterfly nails are everywhere but its not something I’m mad at. I actually really love how feminine and cute the nails designs turn out to be and I included a couple of designs in this post…

Stiletto Nails
Stiletto shaped nails are super hot and super fierce. They were named after the type of shoe because they are usually long and filed down to have a sharp point.
